Brigids Day Family Session

We are delighted to kick off this year’s family sessions on Brigid’s Day this year Sun 1st Feb from 2 – 4pm with Trisha. One of our favorite ways of sharing the woods with you is based around the year in nature and what a beautiful marker in the year Brigid’s Day / Imbolc is, when the ground, the air and the canopy are bursting with promise and vitality for all that will grow this year. We are delighted that one of our forest friend dads, Alan from Bunduff Farms will be with us on the day sharing some of his knowledge around what’s happening to the mycelium network of magic soil underground and we have some great experiments to share with families. We believe that this is one of the most nourishing ways for families and community members of all ages to connect, play, and learn in the beautiful natural surroundings of Sligo Woodland School.
